• Valid Passport (must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay)
• 2 Fully completed Visa Application Forms
• 2 Passport Photographs
• Copy of most recent bank statement
• If traveling with a tour group, a copy of tour itinerary confirmation, and flight itinerary.
• If traveling individually flight itinerary and hotel reservation.

• A business letter of responsibility written on your US company letterhead and addressed to: Consulate General of Botswana. The letter must state all of the following:
- Nature of business to be performed
- Business reference in Botswana to be visited
- Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant, and their return transportation
- The letter should be signed by a company employee other than the applicant
• An invitation letter from host company or organization in Botswana.
• A copy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card), or copy of Valid U.S. Visa is also required.

• If traveling with a minor: Minors traveling through the country's borders will be required to produce certified copies of unabridged birth certificates. In the event that one parent is not traveling with the child, the other parent's affidavit consenting to such travel should be availed. Temporary guardianship must be given if both parents are not traveling with the minor, as well as the above mentioned requirements. However, an affidavit will not be required if the father's name does not appear on the child's birth certificate.
