Socio-Professional Situation

PRE-REQUISITES:

  Additional requirements: 

 
1- Submit Your Current Passport
Your passport must be valid for six month beyond your return date and must contain at least two blank visa pages.

2- Expired Passports (if applicable)

3- Two Passport Photos 
Please note: acceptable passport photos are:
• Photographs must be 2 x 2 inches in size, taken within the past 6 months.
• The image size from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head should be between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inches.
• No glasses
• The photographs must be in color
• They must be full face, front view with a plain white or off-white background.
• Photographs should be taken without a hat or headgear that obscures the hair or hairline.
• Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless required for medical reasons.
• Home made Digital photographs are not acceptable.

4- Clear Copy of Valid Form of Government Issued ID (Copy of front and back of Driver License or State ID, preferably in color)

5- Copy Legal Status in U.S.
If you are not a US citizen, please provide proof of your legal status (green card, visa and I94
or endorsed I20 for F1 visa holders or endorsed DS2019 for J 1 visa holders. The "travel
endorsement" signature is valid for one year and must not expire before the date of return to the
USA).
If you have an official travel document, a note verbale is required.

6- If you had a prior Schengen visa, please provide details of previous biometric appointment for Schengen Visa.
7- If you your name has changed, please provide the Name Change Document.

PURPOSE OF TRAVEL / STAY:

8- Daily Planned Activity 
Document describing the planned program (letter of presentation, reservation confirmation
of an organized trip).

9- Flight Reservation
Pre-booked round-trip ticket

10- Copy of Employment Verification Letter or Business License (if self emplyed).  If retired, pension certificate. If student, certificate of enrollment.

11- Proof of Funds.  Copies of bank statements for the last Six Months (with the name and address of the account holder(s), printed copies from online accounts are accepted), 

IN ADDITION:
-Copies of pay stubs from the last Six months (if employed)
- Last year's income tax return or proof of prior economic activity and
income during previous fiscal year (if self employed)
- Proof of pension (if retired)
- Letter of Support with details of what support is being provided and how (if sponsored)
- Evidence of the Relationship (if any) between applicant and Sponsor
-Copies of Sponsor's bank statements for the last Six months

12- Copies of Proof of Accomodation

13- "Attestation d'accueil" (in case of accommodation by a private individual) or hotel reservation or certificate of ownership of real estate or lease agreement.

14- Proof of Travel Health Insurance (which we can also obtain on your behalf). Travel health insurance certificate issued by an insurance company (covering any possible costs for medical repatriation, costs related to medical and emergency hospital treatment, for a minimum amount of €30,000, valid for the entire Schengen area or for the French Overseas Territories depending on your main destination. IMPORTANT:  A copy of your American health insurance card is not an acceptable proof of adequate coverage).

15- Copy of Husband or Wife's Passport (if applicable). Copy of Husband or Wife's Passport..  Copy of Husband or Wife's U.S. Immigration Status (if Non-U.S.). Copy of Child / Children's Passport (if applicable).
