Cameroon Notes

The Cameroon tourist or business visa is valid for multiple entries within 60 days from the date issued, for a stay from 1 day to 90 days.
The 60 days (business only) multiple entries visas are valid for stays up to 6 months with extension of stay up to 12 months possible on local application.
The first entry must be made within 60 days of the visa issue date, for both visas.
If visiting friends or relatives in Cameroon (social visit), an invitation, including a certificate of accomodation, bearing the seal of the Cameroon Police is also required.

Cameroon Tourist Visa

• Visa Required
• Submit your valid, signed Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond intended stay
• 2 Fully completed and signed Visa Application Forms
• 2 Passport photographs
• Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary
• Copy of recent bank statement or letter from bank verifying applicant has sufficient funds.
• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever
• Completed Ambassador Passport and Visa Cover Letter

• For Non-U.S. Citizen Applicants, a copy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card), or valid U.S. Visa is also required.

Cameroon Business Visa

• Visa Required
• Submit your valid, signed Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity beyond intended stay
• 2 Fully completed and signed Visa Application Forms
• 2 Passport photographs
• Business letter of responsibility typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Cameroon, Visa Section, Washington D.C. The letter must explain all of the following:
• Nature of business to be performed
• Name and address of reference to be visited
• Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds
• Exact duration of stay in Cameroon
• Letter should be signed by a company officer other than applicant
• Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary
• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever
• Completed Ambassador Passport and Visa Cover Letter

• For Non-U.S. Citizen Applicants, a copy of Alien Registration Card (Green Card), or valid U.S. Visa is also required
